India - no ploblem, no ploblem!

All though we received all the worlds warnings from near and dear concerning the conditions in India, we said a little prayer and headed off for Mumbai.
And for the first day or two everything seemed just like the Indians told us so many times: No ploblem!

Sitting in an Indian cafe in Mumbai with our dear Norwegian painter Edward Munchs "Skrik" above me. This is a good picture on how I felt inside just then. We were there in the purpose of getting some food for breakfast, but we were VERY uncertain on what we could eat without getting an upset stomach.

Gate of India welcomed us in Mumbai.

The leader of all leaders and the father of India: Mahatma Gandhi

What is a lane? Totally chaos, but no ploblem! The traffic is a mess and the lane marks seem to be there just for inspiration.

Couchsurfing gathering in Mumbai. In the middle Hermant Jain who hosted us for two nights in Mumbai. His private driver picked us up from the airport!

It's time to move on. We are about to leave from Hemmies apartment in Mumbai. Goa is waiting for us! When the noisy little cab arrived I really thought we had a problem. How could we get all of our luggage in? Ah, no ploblem! They just wrapped a band over it and no ploblem at all....Notice the Indian Guard costume: Tie and slippers! Cute :)He was actually sleeping in standing position a few minutes before this picture was taken.

Morgenstund har gull i munn. Mother preparing her children for a new day.

On the train from Mumbai to Goa. 12 hours travel. A pity that the window was too dirty to look through, otherwise I can imagine it was a great scenery...

Arriving in Goa we experience a creative way of carrying. The Indian way. The backpack on the arm and the wheel bag on the head. No ploblem!
